Great hometown restaurant. Gyro was very good. Really fresh taste. Other Greek favorites on the menu too. Has been there for years for a reason. Staff is friendly and food came quickly. I'll be back. Try it you'll like it too.

Our favorite place to get gyros! My 6 year old wanted me to take him back inside to “thank the chef” because he loved his gyro so much...but I thought I would leave a great review on here instead!

Had the traditional gyro and some stuffed grape leaves. They were the best. I plan on going back to try everything on the menu. With the care and obvious quality of the ingredients everything must certainly be beyond compare

Best Gyros in the north hills. Owner operated restaurant. Great price, and the freshest taste. Don’t waste your time or taste buds at Panera, Or Jersey Mikes. The Gyro shop is spectacular.

I went Saturday night for a gyro to go. This place never disappoints , I love it there and it is always so good. The sauce on the gyro is amazing and the service is always great. Worker that was there (not sure of his name) was great and very busy but attentive and efficient. I will definitely keep coming back.

This is no frills (best for take out), with a somewhat limited menu, but it is soooo good! Hubby swears by the traditional gyro and I do the grilled chicken one, both are generously portioned and tasty. The meat grape leaves are also fantastic. Staff is always pleasant too, a bonus!

Great food and service, reasonably priced, and the owner/manager is super-friendly. My Dad and I had gyros, Greek salad, fries, and baklava-- all delicious. Very welcoming to new customers. I highly recommend The Gyro Shop!
